Breath Day

We take a Breath Day today. A day to breathe in Promises of Hope from His Word to us.

Material anchors can never hold us securely the way God will. Earthly anchors slip and drag along the bottom of the sea when storms hit, but God will remain your strong, immovable anchor of hope and hold you through every storm in your life.

Run to God when the winds of trouble, doubt and discouragement blow. He loves you and will never let you go. He is the true anchor of your soul.

Perhaps you are experiencing a storm and feel all hope is gone. May these verses bring peace to your heart and an anchor of hope for your soul.

Accept Jesus Christ as your only hope.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.  1 Peter 1:3

Now put your hope in what you do not see.

For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.   Romans 8:24-25

Claim the promises and plans of God.

For I know the plans I have for you,”declares the LORD,”plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  Jeremiah 29:11

Hope in God’s redeeming power.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.  Romans 15:13

Overcome your storms of life because Jesus did.

I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.  John 16:33

Remember hope anchors the soul.

This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary.  Hebrews 6:19
